I'm Bobby Rio, one of the founders of TSB. I tend to write about what is on my mind so you'll find a mix of self development, social dynamics and dating articles/experiences. I've recently compiled a book with over 177 free PUA Openers...It took me awhile to put this collection together. Also, I just released another free report called Small Talk Tactics.

dancers1.jpgOne of the biggest complaints that I hear from guys is that there is nowhere to meet women. This is particularly true of guys nearing thirty who are sick of the bar and club scene. Hell, I’m one of those guys.

In a podcast I did with Mike Stoute we talked a little bit about places to meet women, to either date, or make friends with. I wanted talk real quick about a goldmine that should be explored by anyone who believes its hard to find women.

About a year ago Mike Stoute and I went to an open floor night at a local latin dance school. Every Wednsday the school opens it doors to anyone who wants to check the place out, as well as to all its students who want to come and practice all the moves that they’ve been learning.

Well, the minute we walked in we knew we had stumbled onto something good. The place was jam packed with women, of all ages. There were a handful of guys there to, but the ratio was definately in our favor. The scene was cool. Music playing, eveyone either mingling or testing moves on the dance floor. I was so impressed that I signed up for 3 one on one 30 minute lessons.

Lets quickly look at the benefits of taking such a class. First, I would learn to dance, which would help me greatly in the club scene. I would also be learning salsa which would make for a great date with a girl. What a way to add some value, how many guys can salsa dance?? straight guys??? Second, there were quite a few targets taking the lessons. These were girls I would see often, have something in common with, and every Wednsday after the open night, there would be ample opportunity to round up some chicks for a further venture into the night.

It would also be great place to make some female friends. These kind of friends are invaluable. You now have a group of girls to go out dancing with. You know how much more appeal you have now, then when you were the hungry guy bopping alone on the dance floor.

So yes, I strongly advocate taking the lessons. I will admit that after my 3 lessons were up I stopped going to the class. It was mainly because of financial reasons, as I was out of work at the time.

Im dating a latin girl who gives me private lessons now, but when I’m single… trust me you’ll find me at one of these classes.

  1. Thumbs says:

I’m agreeding on this dancing concept all together. I went club “sarging” for the first time tonight and really got my ass kicked because I dont know how to dance. I tried and looked like an idiot but I had fun doing it so now im tempted to really look into dance, plus these non threatning atmospheres that women go to: yoga, spin class, dancing and so forth are all great places to meet women and practice!
