I’m a newbie who took a workshop, and I’ve actually been called out on using a line from the show in LA. Had a friend get called out by a dude who actually worked on the show, although the dude did it somewhat discreetly. And I even got called out on Match.com for using the Mystery Method/NLP, if you can believe that one. It destroyed my newbie friend’s game that night, but I was unfazed. You can feign ignorance (and even show vulnerability or sincerity if you wish), or you can confess and use that to express direct interest and see what happens. Either way, you don’t die or anything. It’s no big deal.

Yea, my brother used the Montel Williams show opener to a girl at a bar, and she said “You’re the second guy that asked me that tonight… what’s that the pick up line of the week”
He said he felt stupid, but laughed it off. About an hour later he used the same line on a girl and wound up taking her home.
The point: You may get called out. You may not. But the reward far outweighs the risk.

That’s the one thing I don’t like about the show. It exposes a lot of openers that us newbies are using.
I have picked up some stuff from the show such as body language and peacocking and used them effectively, but I’ve also heard a number of reports of PUAs getting called out.
They almost gave away the 5 Questions game when Brady started explaining it to a girl! I was so happy they didn’t show the rest of it because that’s one of the little games I love using!
