As commuters they don't get many opportunities to socialize, so they welcome any chance they get to talk to strangers (or get picked-up). You also save them from boredom in between classes. The same can apply to non-commuters. They need something to do to past the time between classes. If they're reading a book with headphones in their ears, they're just ASKING to be approached. Basically, college campuses are a day game buffet. There's no reason you shouldn't get a number on a college campus. Now, whether they pick up the phone when you call or they call you back, THAT is a different story entirely dependent on how well you play your game. -Seraf To Fellow College Students:
