All right, since you just split with your girl I’d like some perspective on something.
Breaking up is always hard on women…especially around the holidays. Women hate staying home or going out stag on New Years.
Well, I parted ways with my mLTR of 8 months a few days ago. This is after she bought me rims for my car (birthday last week) and a new laptop for Christmas. She wanted committment/marriage etc. I just don’t see that in my near future. Things ended well… a little crying but no psycho rants. I thought I got my point across perfectly.
Well, now I feel like a total dick. I spent last night at home playing with the dog and watching DVD’s. This morning, I woke up to find a card taped to my front door. Inside she tells me how much she wants me in her life, etc etc… along with 8k worth of gift cards to Saks.
This chick is a 27 y/o trauma nurse. She can’t make more than 50 grand a year, yet I’m guessing she’s pissed away 15k on me in the last 2 weeks.
Part of me wants to raid Saks Men’s dept. The other says nothing good can come from this and I should wait a week, then return the gift cards and reaffirm my position. Plus she’s a good person adn I don’t want to screw her up financially.
Don’t accept the gift cards.. At least i wouldn’t if you’re serious about ending it.
My situation is different as I wanted it to be over… but not the way it happended (a story for a different time)
My feeling is things always end. People eventually move on and deal with it… once your convinced you’re not going to be with a girl.. the worst thing you can do is give her hope. Its better to hurt her all at once and let her move on. In the past I’ve made the mistake of stringing them along cuz i was afraid to tell them the truth (i didnt love them) and in the end I think it would have been better to end it quickly.
I know from the time I was on the losing end of a break up.. her giving me hope was the worst thing as it took twice as long to get over her.
As for the gift cards… thats up to you.. I just couldn’t morally accept that kind of gift from a girl I wasn’t going to be with.
i’d take it. but then again, im a gold digger lol.

any thoughts on Styles new book??
i’ve been hearing mixed reviews about it, and im really considering buying it anyways, but i just wondered what you thought of it.
i heard it had no real new valuable information, and seemed to be a bunch of leftover stuff from The Game. but then again, ive also heard it was great. but i wanted your opinion because you always seem to give the most honest and non-biased opinions that i know of.
Truthfully i haven’t read the book. I might eventually, but my desire to read it isn’t that strong right now. It is probably a great book for those who read “the game” and never went on to read other stuff from the community.. but those of us who have read the many articles on this site and other sites, along with all the ebooks and audio courses will probably find most of the information outdated.
At this point, I get more enjoyment out of reading personal adventures rather than how to books.. I’d like to read a tell all book from a pick up artist… sort of like Style’s original book.
Maybe I’ll have to write one… “the adventures of Bobby Rio” I have plenty of stories to tell. lol.
If anyone has any input on Neil’s “Rules of the Game” please send in or post a review. Many of us are curious.

chase… i wouldnt take it, dont get me wrong the whore in us wants to but you cant. on of my ex ltr bought me all kinda of stuff(which why i was with her as long as i was)and the last thing she gave me was a diamond filled watch and i loved that thing(i even have pictures just of my watch, thats how much i loved it lol)but to break free and clear i gave it back and i miss it but thats the only way she will never leave you alone if you keep the cards trust me!
Fred ima buy the book probally next week because i liked the stories in the game and want some more, but i think style is a leeach milking it all but fuck it, ill give a review soon

its funny, because i saw an episode of Fresh Prince the other day that had the same story line as what your talking about. in the end, before Will could come clean and confess that he couldnt take it no more, she ended up breaking up with him first, and taking all her stuff back..
it turns out she was using him as a popularity boost, so be careful lol.
ha ha, i never noticed that before Mack (about the booby thing). thats pretty funny stuff.
and yeah im still undecided about buying Neils book. if there was a way i could get it free, i would probably do that. but unfortunately i havent found anything yet.
keep us posted on your opinions of the book Seraf. im curious on whether its worth it or not.
Man, the stories on this blog should get even better now! Can’t wait to see 2008’s field reports.
