With all the delays of the RockBand game for playstation 2 I decided to perform a little experiment on my own, and then bam! Success!
I had herd that all the pieces for the RockBand game connected through USB ports, but online people were questioning it because the PS2 only has 2 ports and the game needs 3. USB is a standard, so it had to work and not to mention that it would be kind of stupid to build all the RockBand hardware through a USB standard and then require manufacturers to still make changes inside the instruments for the different systems. It all comes down to money, and counting on the thriftiness of the game companies it was a good gamble to make. So I went and bought everything to run the experiment.
- Rock Band Special Edition Package for Playstation 3
- Rock Band Game for Playstation 2
- USB Hub (I used a small Targus PA055U 4 Port USB 1.1 Ultra Mini Hub)
After finding out it worked there was only a one small issue I had. If you have Guitar Hero 3 and you need another Guitar for RockBand. The Guitar Hero 3 guitar will always default as the one on the left , no matter what USB configuration . Not that big of a deal though!!! I love it!
And use the Drums to unlock all songs, its so easy!

ah how i want this game..
i’ve played it about 3 times total, and im in love with it, especially the drums..
now that im barely getting my Tv fixed after almost a year, my Xbox 360 decides to give me the 3 rings of death. niice. lol

I herd about the 3 rings of death on the Xbox 360, and that’s the game to do it. lol I only had a few times where the game froze, but I think it was because I was hitting the kick drum so hard. Come come with the kick drum, come come.. (my favorite line from The Break Up movie with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston)

lol actually, i think i got my Rings of Death from Guitar hero.. i heard you can send it in to get fixed for free, but im still too lazy to call it in, so i might just buy a new one.
and Mike, was it me, or was that entire movie of The Break Up kinda depressing? i mean dont get me wrong, seeing Jennifer Annistons hot body for an hour and a half plus Vince Vaughns crazy sense of humor was cool, but overall i thought the movie kinda sucked.

I’m half and half on it. I just found the dancing singing sprite who fooled him with trickery when he kicked his ass as one of the best characters ever.
But i agree, it was a little depressing…

Rock Band is awesome. Great thing to do with girls over.
Combine it with alcohol, and the pants may start comin’ off.

imo I don’t like games like rock band or guitar queer I like games like gears of war or call of duty 4 so I can whoop ppls asses. and I’ve seen the ring of death 2 times and I just sent mine in and they fix it…o yea if u got the 360 don’t use the intercooler the can and will short out and soder itself to your 360 u can get it fixed free from the intercooler ppl but it takes them a month or two

Rock band is good for a group of girls.
If you bring one girl over, have an animal such as frogs, rabbits, mice, rats, or fish or dogs that she can see.
