Вывешено мобильным телефоном:
По мере того как я уверен вы может сказать, я буду падким geek мобильного телефона. Люди talk about телефоны и устройства большими упорками, но они идут дорога более глубокая чем то. Mobile phones are now becoming status symbols in every day life. I can usually tell a decent amount about a person by looking at their mobile phone. The condition, covers, model, you would be surprised. I mean its something that most people carry around every day of their lives.

These new “status symbols” have many ways you can peacock them. Ringtones are probably the stronger of the bunch as funny or cool ringtones can ignite eye contact and smile for an easy opener.

So I have decided to give away some ringtones. Each of these will be highly recognizable and either make you/them laugh or at least smile. Then you can deliver a funny “pre-opener” statement that you can use to gauge how approachable she might be towards an opener/routine.

The first ringtone I leave you with is Beverly hills cop movie jungle. If you spot a girl laughing/smiling when you answer the phone, you answer something like “detective Axel Foley here” while smiling at her. Then use her reaction from the pre-opener to gauge approachability.

Just make sure the person calling us someone you can joke around with ;) they might be a little confused, ya know.

Mike is mobile obssessed.. but i have to give it to him.. he’s right! His ringtones always create a conversation when they go off… Even people standing a few feet away will turn and look.

Of course thats only half the battle.. you need to follow it up with some good rapport building.

I always thought my phone was just a tool to call my customers and get harassed by my boss until recently seeing articles on TSB.

I just started using greek mythlogy wallpaper, I create them just by finding pictures on the internet and then convert to size and download to my phone. I turn my backlight on all the time.(The drawback is I have to plug my phone into the charger as soon as I get back in my vehicle as the backlight on all the time kills the battery.)

While working at a customer site(I deal with 85-95% women all day) I’ll set the phone down on a counter in plain view and women always’s peak at it. About 50-60% ask about it, that gives me the chance to practice my story telling. I don’t just say, “That’s the greek god Aphroditie, godess of love”, I go into a short story about greek gods and then finish with who and what she is. I am getting better at the story and IOI’s are getting more frequent. I need to fine tune it and stack another routine after it.

I decided to try this after reading some of the story telling articles on TSB. They tell you to use the opportunity when someone asks about your peakcocking necklace, watch, hat, etc., to draw them in with a great story instead of just saying for example, “It’s a real indian arrowhed”, when women ask about your necklace.

I’ll now start adding ringtones as I get 30-40 incoming calls a day. More potentional opportunities to interact now instead of boring work talk.

Many ringtones can be purchased and downloaded but that gets expensive. For those that are not techicnical savvy and or haven’t tried putting ringtones or wallpaper on their phones, here are some sites that have software so you can create your own custom ringtones and wallpaper and transfer to the phone. My 14 year old nephew hooked me up a couples months ago. Tnx Chad!

This freeware program supports many phones. gets ringtones and wallpaper to and from the phone, requires a cable to phone or bluetooth pc interface.

A long time ago I was at a beach bonfire party on Cape Cod. There were a lot of new people there. I got into a conversation with a nice looking girl and she asked where I was from. The whole party had this Hawaii feeling to it and I was a little buzzed, so I turned to her and said kind of matter-of-factly “Steve Macgarret- Hawaii Five-O”. Everyone erupted in the Hawaii Five-O song, Duh, Duh, Duh, Duh Dah Da…Needless to say I looked like quite the hot spud. I dated her the rest of the summer, and I’d say “Book’em Danno” whenever I answered her phone calls. It was so lame it was funny.

    Michael

Here is the link to where I got my pictures and info for the stories. homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/ListAlbums.html there is 100’s of pictures there to choose from. The ones I am using are photo’s of the paintings. The detail get’s killed when the picture is shrunk down to cell size but what seems to grab there attention is all the color. It stands out as being very different than most cell phone wallpaper. Then when they look closer they usually grasp that it is a photo of a painting.

    homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/ListAlbums.html

It’s kinda hidden in the second line. If I put http:\\homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML/ListAlbums.html it usually screws the link up, at least it has in the past.

You can even have cool message alerts. My favourite is “ha ha” by Nelson from the Simpsons. It alsways gets peoples attention, even if they’ve heard it before.
