O frio lê é algo que é discute muito na consideração a escolher acima das mulheres. E há uma razão para aquela… porque trabalha.
Uma vez que você abriu uma menina você necessita mover-se em uma fase da transição. No livro clássico Balas mágicas they outline 4 different types of transitions. Cold reading is my favorite and the one I want to talk about.
Cold reading is basically telling someone something about themselves as you see it. There are great conversation piece because the person will usually immediately tell you how well your description fits. Cold reading is an art… it takes practice.. trial and error.. but you’ll find that after awhile you’ll begin to be able to make spot on “generalizations.”
Here is a sample cold read created by Bertram Foyer, who they discuss a lot in The Love Systems Routine Manual. You’ll see that although its quite general, as you read it you’ll be able to see how many of these remarks can apply to anyone:
“You have a need for other people to like and admire you, and yet you tend to be critical of yourself. While you have some personality weaknesses you are generally able to compensate for them. You have considerable unused capacity that you have not turned to your advantage. Disciplined and self-controlled on the outside, you tend to be worrisome and insecure on the inside. At times you have serious doubts as to whether you have made the right decision or done the right thing. You prefer a certain amount of change and variety and become dissatisfied when hemmed in by restrictions and limitations. You also pride yourself as an independent thinker, and do not accept others’ statements without satisfactory proof. But you have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing yourself to others. At times you are extroverted, affable, and sociable, while at other times you are introverted, wary, and reserved. Some of your aspirations tend to be rather unrealistic.”
Imagine delivering that to a women as a chance observation. You think she’ll be intrigued?
Below is another cold reading routine create by Mr. M and published in The Routines Manual:
Eye Angle Transition
This routine works on the theory that eyes that are slanted downwards come across as caring and empathetic, whereas eyes slanted upwards convey a more sincere but fierce impression.
You can use this routine at any point during your opener; even interrupt her at any time to start this one.
“That’s really interesting.”
(She responds.)
“Did you know that if your eyes slant downwards your first impression tends to be empathetic and approachable whereas if your eyes slant upwards people tend to think you’re fierce and unapproachable?”
There are two options from here:
If her eyes slant down – “Do you find that people are generally friendly towards you but you really only let a select group of people become really close to you?”
Or:
If her eyes slant up – “Do you find that people don’t always open up to you straight away and you only let a select group of people become really close to you anyway?”
(She responds.)
“Yeah, you seem like the sort of person that enjoys having friends but only lets a few people into the inner circle. I’m the same way.”
Using a routine like this is a great way to keep a girl interested in talking to you. Although its nothing extraordinary it will be a breath of fresh air to a girl that has heard the same tired pickup lines in a bar all night. Plus you’ll be showing that you have an understanding of her world. And as they teach in Magic Bullets, that is a great way build higher value.

Ha! That first cold read reminds me of Astrology…it basically fits anyone at some point in their life…emotions everyone feel. If that’s what a cold read is, then you’d just have to tailor it (loosely if at all, and better if accurate) to fit the particular girl and present moment…i like it!
Younger chicks definitely get off on that shit…i gotta start memorizing a few easy and effective ones.

OMG DUDE!
That’s all kinds of MONEY!! I know about Eye accessing cues, but I usually make it up on the spot.
Does Love Systems’ “ROUTINE MANUAL” have more cold reading routines like the one you mentioned above? And are you aware of other sources to find cold reading routines that don’t involve palm reading?
Palm reading is kind of lame - when you do it, girls become interested in the routine not you!

Yeah I agree…palmistry is a joke and that’s the only time I do it. There is a good routine by a guy named…shit I forgot…he was on the David D CD interview…but basically you just make shit up but sound serious…then end it with “And this right here…this is your love line…and…whoa! I see something…he’s a guy….and…you’re gonna meet him at a bar (or where ever you are). He’s (vaguely describe yourself)…and he’s wearing a (specifically describe yourself so she knows your joking that it’s you).” Dumber girls that REALLY believe in that stuff might take it wrong but a somewhat intelligent girl usually laughs and slaps you…in my experience

that fake palmistry routine would would work really well if you precede it with accurate cold reading, making the girl buy into you’re “powers of intuition”, and then bust on her later with this stuff…

Cold reading is, in my opinion, one of the things that REALLY differentiates ‘PUA’ (although i dont consider myself one).
Where Im form, most guys have NO problem approaching girls. But this kinda stuff, which i do use, really sets me apart from the pack.
Its difficult to get it right though and takes LOTS of failures (i still get it wrong 75% of the time) but its great to laugh about how wrong I was. This satisfies the ‘being able to joke at yourself’ and not being insecure. Both of these are highlighted somewhere on this website I think.

I do cold read astrology in every single decent PU I’ve ever tried and I’m getting pretty good…I’m at a point where I can usually guess a person’s sign after meeting them for a few minutes. Chicks ALWAYS respond well to it. Even if you guess wrong, you’ve started some good convo. Chick crack, as they say.
I’ve tried palm reading a couple times, but only deep into comfort. It works just fine, and it’s a great way to kino. I see it as roughly the same as running the cube. I’ve never tried to cube someone in a busy bar or club, was wondering if anyone has done it successfully, and what type of result did you get? I DID cube a pregnant chick at a football game once, although I was drunk as fuck.
The two cold read routines above sound awesome, I’ll have to incorporate that into my repertoire, and maybe pick up those books. Thanks for sharing.
