I normally laugh at every miserable attempt to teach women what men want. The books are usually written by some feminist or psychologist who preach the “men are from mars” type fluff.
But today at Barnes N Noble I glanced at a book called Why Men Love Bitches… I picked it up just to see what the latest crap they were telling women to do to get a man. I was surprised to find that the book was GOLD for women.
This book is like “The Game” for females. It should be required reading for females just as Double Your Dating should be for men. I wish some of the girls that I dated read this book. I probably would have stayed interested a whole lot longer.
It goes through like 40 attraction principles. Every principle was completely true. In fact most of it was stuff I just can’t figure why girls don’t realize this. Its sort of like the why girls like jerks theory….

Totally true, I find a girl that’s, I don’t want to say "bitch", but a girl that poses a challenge and that is really feisty way more attractive than a shy girl or a girl who’s always agreeing with. That’s like totally the same with how women are attracted to us, when we pose a challenge, not necessarily being "jerks", girls become attracted.

I’ve seen this book ever since I entered the community back in 03, and wondered what it taught. I might get it for a few female friends.
I love "The Rules" because if you just reverse most of those techniques and use them on women, they end up working better on them than they do on us men.

Those "men are from mars" books are usually written for women with no hope or fat chix. Yes I am harsh, but fat chix need to take care of themselves too, just like fat guys.
Btw, I recently realized even 8s 9s and 10s can be self-consciouses. That’s why some of them want implants — to make themselves more confident.

I disagree with Seraf on that one. The how-to books help keep women enamoured with men. Those books give hope that someday, the guy who licked her up and down last night may fall in love with her. Without those resources, girls will just buy vibrators.

im with woobie on this one. there really isnt some large community of chunky chicks buying these books - its girls on the verge of being bitter or dumping their bfs.
girls who are frustrated with how things are working, but smart enough to realize that men and women work differently. their main hope is that there is just some secret or mistranslation going on - thats a much better way to think that just saying "all men are pigs".
and i havent read this book, so cant judge, but as much as you men SAY you want a smart, feisty, challenging woman - you DO have fragile egos. i’ve had to change my vocabulary when flirting because the second you say a word a guy doesnt understand, his eyes glaze over and all interest in you is lost. in fact, one of the most useful tricks in my bag is to change the subject to a topic i know NOTHING about, (like hunting or some BS), then question the guy about it and give him the opportunity to be my teacher in something.
men LOVE spending time with a women who puts the spotlight on his strengths.

It’s like they say…… Men love the bitches, but women fall in love with the bad boys…… It might be a matter of wanting what we can’t have. Sometimes it’s a turn on when someone gives just a little bit but not enough. It makes a person desire more.

Like all books… (what is up with the type being huge!?) if you take it too seriously then your going to over do it. I remember when i first read the game I went way too into it and totally screwed up. I know a girl who read this book and must like me looked way too into it and ended up not changing at all but instead become a little more emotionally broken inside from these attraction principles failing too.
