Pergunta:
Minha resposta:
Desde que você é tímido vamos começar falar-lhe em uma maneira fácil, natural. What you have to do is go to the machine she is working out on and ask if you can work in. Do it early in her set so she doesn’t say, “I just have one left.” After you do a set, say something. I would go with a light sarcastic joke, like, “I can usually do ten times as much, but I’m taking it easy today.” Say this with a smirk or smile.
If she smiles or laughs, that’s your green light to continue the conversation. Since you’re at the gym, I would ask her questions. How about, “I think I saw you doing cardio. I’m wondering if I should do cardio first or weight lift first.” If it’s going well, hit her with another joke. Before you part ways, exchange names. A simple “By the way, what’s your name?” will work. Once you’ve had that first conversation and can talk to her again like you know her, it’s just a matter of finding out what she’s doing after a workout to get a smoothie, where at the end you exchange numbers and take her out on a real date with alcohol.

The “hey what do you think about when you workout?” opener is the best I’ve seen. It has situational relevance, its something she’s never heard before, and it doesn’t sound canned.
Be sure to have an interesting answer for when she asks you “so what do you think about?”

Ah… gym game.
I’ve found that meeting women in the gym doesn’t have to be so hard… mainly because you’ll likely see that person again.
So the time pressure doesn’t have to be there and you can string it out a bit.
Often times, I just make it a point to get the person’s name… opinion type openers work really well.
Asking a question like: “Hey, I’m new here. What seem to be the busiest times here?”…
… work well.
Just give her a familiar face to talk to when she comes in… generally most people don’t really know many people at the gym that they workout at… ie gym loners
Naturally, with this “method” (lol)… after you get her name… you just say “Cool, maybe I’ll see you around here another time”…
And she’ll likely say, “Sure, I usually work out at (this time, this day)”
The key is to find out really quickly if she’s into her workout like crazy and wants to get back to it… or if she wants to chat for a bit and put the workout off… haha.
As long as you aren’t a tool… the gym is also a GREAT way to build social value, because if you KNOW a bunch of people there, then things really start working in your favor (remember, most people are gym loners)
