About the Author
I found an interesting article about the five types that both men and women go for. The article first talks about the five 5 types of girls that men tend to go for. Tonya lists them as 1. The Slut. 2. The Knockout. 3. The Challenge. 4. The Submissive. 5. The One You Take Home to Mom. Out of the 5, I tend to go for the challenge, or the slut… whichever comes first. How bout you?
The second part of the article talks about the five kinds of men that women are attracted to.
Here is an exerpt from Tonya’s article: The 5 Types of Men Women Go For
The Bad BoyHe may not have a pot to p*ss in or a window to throw it out, but, if hes a thug or some other type of bad boy, women will want him. BAD. Theyll wanna fight other women for him. Theyll wanna be his baby mama. Theyll wanna be the one that he settles for. Guess what? This dudes not gonna settle! He loves the attention and hell play a woman as long as she lets him. And if you leave him? So what. Theres another woman waiting around the corner to take your place. Turns out hes been seeing her on the side anyway.
The Brainiac”Women are turned on by a certain part of a man where the bigger, the better. Im talking about his brain, of course! We love a man who can challenge our intellect and enlighten us on a few subjects, whether it be politics, mechanical engineering, or whatever subject matter were lacking knowledge in. It s sexy when a man can hold a stimulating conversation and actually look us in the eye. It doesnt hurt when he can answer a few questions while playing Trivial Pursuit, either.
The Charmer”Charisma is extremely important. Nobody wants to end up with someone who will bore them out of their skull. Its important to us that our man is appreciated by our friends and loved ones. He should have the wit and charm to hold folks in awe for hours on end. We want to hear them say What a great guy! I like him. When is he coming around again?
The Knight in Shining Armor”Lets face it, women dont like wimps. We want a man to protect us from danger, defend our honor, and carry our heavy groceries (not necessarily in that order). We want a strong man in our corner. Not that well test him, but we basically want him to be able to kick someones butt if it comes down to that.
The Perfect Man”Does he exist? Some seem to have found him. This is the guy who fits a good chunk of the checklist items of what we want in a man. Handsome? Check. Got a job? Check. Watches chick flicks without complaining? Check. He may have some little quirks that we think are cute, but overall hes all that, and then some. Sometimes hes right in front of us and we dont even realize it.
This list reminds me of Robert Greene’s list of seductive characters in his classic Art of Seduction. When you look at this list, you must ask yourself, “which am I?” If you don’t fit into any of these or Green’s seductive personality types… then you’re probably an anti-seducer…

Umm…is this really true. I’m always suspicious when people try and categorize something so subjective like this.
If I’m any of the stereotypes, it’s the brainiac. Is it true women like smart guys?
I disagree about the brainiac, unless the girl is also one of the smart artsy types. I think that the potential for success aka money is more of a turn on rather than the guy being Rhodes Scholar.
There are other types as well but it goes deeper into the “caregiver/dominate” spectrum. But this sums it up pretty well.
And yes, women LOVE smart guys. The thing is that usually through initial interaction they won’t know this until later on. And when they find out that you have intellectual prowess, it’s a huge attraction spike.
I wouldn’t call myself a brainiac, more so than a computer geek, but women love the fact that I’m pretty smart. It makes them feel like I have the ability to teach them something and that makes it worth them wanting to be with you because you have something genuine and real – a brain.
Then I guess I’m the perfect man, according to the author above. Almost. I don’t get a check for watching ‘chick flicks’ without complaining. Damn… :p lol
[...] Then there was this controversial article on the 5 types of guys that women are attracted to. [...]
Forrest Griffin, Bad Boy, Smart, Charming, Knight in Shining Armor, Manly, Attractive.
Definitely My kind of Man.
