Creating an Avatar
I think the main thing that can be taken from the first episode is the demonstration of how easily looks can be transformed. I’ve always said that looks are not as important as you think… but they do matter! It is quite easy to upgrade your look, and probably the easiest thing you can do to improve the way people react to you.
I wrote a post several months ago that I suggest everyone who wants to improve their attractiveness reads. The most is called 10 Ways You Can Immediately Make Yourself More Attractive. Just following those 10 simple steps will vastly improve the way you look.
If you want to follow Mystery’s advice and add a little peacocking to your avatar I suggest starting off with some simpler accessories like belts, buckles, watches, rings, and bracelets.
If you’re completely clueless about fashion, browse through our fashion section, or pick up Brad P’s Fashion Bible for a condensed version of the essentials.
The important thing to know is that your looks probably aren’t as bad as you think they are, and can probably be improved with some simple grooming, fitness, fashion, and posture adjustments.
Random Thoughts from Episode 1
What did Alex do to get throw off first? Kind of lame right? Alvaro who went on to become last year’s Pick Up Artist didn’t approach any girls his first night out either. Just doesn’t make sense.
Is it just me, or does it seem like half the contestants give off a gay vibe?
Tara is a welcome replacement for the last year’s seemingly pointless J-Dogg. Hear her thoughts on this season.
Matador has some amazingly alpha body language.
I am shocked at how many 28 year old virgins there are in the world… I couldn’t even imagine the feeling.
Crying already!! I sense another seasons of tears.
If I had to choose a winner I would probably go with Simeon or Matt. Who do you guys think?

I think Kevin has a good chance of winning. We’ll see how this goes but I’m pretty excited. I’ll have my own take on this whole thing in the next couple of days.
This season looks a little interesting because NONE of these guys have attractive qualities outright, like Alvaro and Brady.
This should be good.

I didn’t quite understand the eliminating of Alex either.
Also, I find it silly that the show depicts Matador and Mystery being very successful in the club, but we really do not get to see full interactions of the sets they are in. I believe that would be facinating to viewers and I just cannot comprehend why it is not being done.

The only reason they booted Alex was because he was GAY! They should of made him come out of the closet, then have him run his game on dudes.
That guy was so much in denial. If the show had any truthiness to it, they would vote off the best looking guys and keep the worst, and make them into real PUAs. Who really cares if the best looking guys turn into PUAs.

In defense of the show, Alex was throw off cuz a girl came up to him and hit on him and he did absolutely nothing while Alvaro last year just sat in a corner. There’s a diffrence between being shy and not doing anything and dumb as fuck to not take a hint.
My big big complaint is how this show is sooooo contrived. I mean it feels fake, sounds fake, and the obviously scripted lines by the contestants and even Mystery (who basically invented most of the canned material in the world) sounded fake. Last year, although it was cheesy at times, it had a good vibe and seemed mostly genuine (even though we found out later most of the people were actors). If your going to get actors for these reality shows, can we at least make sure they can act?
Oh, and who’s the guy who won off the online voting? I hope he loses, who ever he is lol.

I don’t have VH1 so I’ve spent the better half of a day watching the show highlights on the website in 2-4min snippets. Its been taking me forever too cuz I’m downloading a big file simultaneously.. And I keep having to watch some stupid ad for dove body spray and deodorant..
Anyways yeah, I too think half of them seem gay.

On a side note: I am really getting sick of the whole people getting kicked off thing…. why not do it project hollywood/rockstar style and just display how everyone changes over the course of time.
