There are a few reasons to keep buying more clothes besides having more styles. One of my favorite reasons to have a bigger wardrobe is that you can get away with doing laundry a little less often. I am not saying to wear dirty clothes, just that you have more options for outfits so you may not wear the same thing as many times as you normally would. Say a staple white button down shirt.

At the same time, these clothes will hold up longer and look nicer since they will be put through the washer less over their lifetime. I guess it kind of all ties in with my recent series, How to redo your wardrobe. Keep buying new clothes here and there and eventually you will start discovering old items that still look good!

For instance, some of my best pieces have been in my wardrobe the longest. The other day I started wearing my dads leather jacket from the 70’s. Nothing says vintage like your parents closet!

What if I put them on at 10 at night and take them off a 3am… can I use them the next day?
