Having missed out on this nonsense over the weekend. Let me say this.

David DeAngelo saved my life as far as I know. If it wasn't for reading his book first, I would not be in the position I am in today, being able to help others guys with the path I took.

Second, every blog, every site will advertise something from their partners. That's why we have banners and that's how we give respect to those who deserve it. This article Bobby wrote - he didn't have to write it. All he could have said was, "get DYD! It's the shit!" But he didn't. He took the time to write this out for a guy who he has tremendous respect for. I suggest you give everyone that same respect.

Also, what the fuck does it benefit Bobby by writing this? I doubt he gets commission on this that is so lucrative that he HAS to do it. It's an e-book for goodness sake.

Get over it.

Bobby, you keep doing what you are doing.

Aaron

Putting a plug at the end of an article filled with content is not "masquerading as useful information"

You may have found it that way... but several other readers have commented, and shown me that they got the point of the post..

which was to make two points

1) That just because your good looking doesn't mean your entitled to pussy.
2) To pay homage to a book that helped me understand that.

DYD cost $20. If I was going to write a post with the sole intention of pushing a product to make money I would be writing about one of Mehow's $300 DVD programs, or Mystery's $500 Revelations... not a $20 ebook that most people either already have, or know they steal off the internet for free.

And, You may reference the side bar, but remember, TSB Magazine posts between 6-10 posts a day... I don't expect every one of them to connect with everyone... but my question was, show me a site, that has given away as much free content in this niche... You can't. We have over 2,000 articles, 50 podcasts, 5 free ebooks,

I don't mean to pick on you Aaron... but I take this very personally. Just out of curisosity, how many articles have you read here at TSB Magazine? How many products have you bought via our advertising?

How would you feel if you've written for over 4 years, over 2,000 articles, and I came over and critized you? Having probably never contributed one dollar for all the value i've taken?

What's your defintion of "occasionally?" Of the 15 pages on the "most recent" sidebar, 13 include either a sales pitch or rehosted content from another source. Now there's nothing wrong with a cross-subsidizing. But can't we call a spade a spade?

LILEZ: A "true gentleman" would say what he means, instead of ripping on me and then pretending he didn't mean it.

I will echo your beliefs on your post. I read DYD shortly after I got divorced. I had just finished reading The Game and my head was already spinning. I started immediately being a little cocky/funny and saw results in my interactions instantly.

Even from women I already knew and had no interest in. As I sit here and type this I can't help but want to go grab it and refresh my memory.

Great job. Keep up the good work. You have a fan in your writing.

Just wanted to let you know we got your message about the "next page" problem. The tech guy is pretty busy at the moment, but it should be fixed relatively soon.

LOL nice one lilez.
and as far as the plugging of products, all i have to say is that if one product deserves free plugging, it is Double Your Dating..
i can relate to everything this article said, because it actually was my first book i ever read that truly opened my eyes to this new way of life. and im sure if i was writing articles for TSB, i probably wouldve written an article just like this as a way to pay homage and respect to something that truly changed my life.

No worries Bobby. You guys invest a great deal of time and effort into this site. I am ever so grateful to partake in the information that guys provide for us.

Eh, Aaron had it coming. For those reading this there's an in-lying lesson. The way Bobby dealt with the comment displays high status(as a low status person would resort to telling the guy how much of a douche he is), the classic element of a true gentleman, and also shows his level of Alpha-ness in the light of not being affected by what others think. Lol sorry i couldn't help myself on this one.

Hey Bobby, just so you know, I think I speak for the majority of readers on here who enjoy reading the stuff you guys write and the amount of time and effort you put in to create something genuinely interesting for us to read and get our heads around. Hell, yeah you guys plug things from time to time, but then again who doesn't? Money doesn't grow on trees. The free ebooks and other stuff you guys provide are great, so don't listen to the haters!
