The Top 10 Pick Up Artists of 2009
TSB Magazine has been around now for over 5 years. Over the past couple years we have become extremely involved in the pick-up and seduction community. We have had the opportunity to personally interview many of the top coaches and instructors. We have been invited to attend various boot camps and seminars.
We have personally sarged with instructors, and have had behind the scenes conversations with many in the community.
We have also had the opportunity to view hundreds of hours of infield video and audio from various pick up artists and instructors, as well as talk to many students who have attended various boot camps.
It is with all of this information that we have decided to honor The Top 10 Pick Up Artists of 2009.
How we have based our rankings:
Above all, we conducted a survey that received well over 10,000 responses. So everyone on this list has the support of thousands and thousands of aspiring pickup artists.
The top 10 list will comprise of PUAs who have demonstrated tremendous ability both in the field, and teaching others the skills. The top PUA must be active within the community, and have testimonials from people outside his own organization.
Here are the main areas of focus:
- Reader’s voting
- Innovation
- Contribution to community
- Infield ability
- Student success ratio
Underneath the Top 10 we have also included some individual awards and honorable mentions.
Top 10 Pickup Artists of 2009
So without further waiting…
1. Sinn
Love him or hate him… there is no denying that Sinn is at the top of his game.
Ever since Sinn left the Mystery Method a few years back he has steadily risen to become one of the elite PUAs in the field.
Over the past year Sinn has continued to innovate his game, refining it, fine tuning it, and then turning around and teaching it to the community.
He is the self proclaimed “King of Content” and it is hard to argue that nick name. I don’t think there is anyone out there who gives away as much free information and insights as Sinn. Between his blog, podcasts, interviews, teleseminars, and free reports, Sinn has been educating and inspiring thousands of aspiring pickup artist over the past year.
In addition to the free material Sinn has created several breakthrough products like his day game course, no flaking, and his entire 12 months to mastery program gets rave reviews.
Sinn’s infield game is bar none. Even his detractors and critiques will NEVER argue that he possesses powerful infield presence and ability to deliver on his promises.
2. Richard la Ruina
This has been the year of Richard “Gambler” La Ruina. It seems the guy is taking over the world.
Next to Sinn, I would have to say that Richard La Ruina has provided more free content, articles, reports, interviews, free DVDs, then just about anyone out there.
And he is continually innovating and introducing new concepts and ideas into the game.
The guy has an entourage of women surrounding him at all times. And the guys who attended the Spring Break seminar got to see his game in action… and were not disappointed.
Some people have been skeptical about accepting PUA Training as a major player in the bootcamp industry… but the numbers don’t lie. And guys are signing up for these bootcamps like crazy.
Richard La Ruina was a clear favorite in the polls.
3. Brad P.
Last year’s #1 pickup artist drops a few notches… not because his game got worse, but simply because he kept out of the lime light in 2009.
While Brad’s bootcamps and audio trainings continue to get fantastic feedback… I believe that his reluctance to “reveal” himself on camera is starting to catch up to him.
Brad P’s infield ability is LEGENDARY. And I would bet that if Brad ever came out and released infield footage- it would blow everyone on this list a way.
That being said, 2009 was still a good year for Brad. And look forward to what he will be coming out with in 2010.

4. Braddock
Braddock is cutting edge.
Over the past couple years he, along with Mr. M, have put out some completely revolutionary stuff on inner game, social circle game, and the upcoming phone and text game. And you can always find an article that will teach you something over at his blog.
Braddock is HUGELY popular with his students. And has the respect of his peers for his infield ability.
Cap off 2009 with an appearance on the Tyra Banks show…and it’s hard to argue that Braddock doesn’t deserve to be in the top 5.
I can only see things getting brighter for Braddock in 2010…
5. Mystery
The man is a legend.
And although he didn’t exactly revolutionize anything in 2009… I think it’s safe to say that just about any PUA out there owes a great deal of their game to Mystery.
Not only did Mystery influence the style of game that nearly everyone uses… but he also revolutionized the way pickup is taught. Mystery is the pioneer of the “infield bootcamp.” Although hundreds of have followed in his footsteps, it was Mystery who first put it on the line and took students out for infield demonstrations of what he was teaching.
There is no arguing that Mystery skill picking up beautiful women is second to none. You will find people who say a lot of bad things about Mystery. But you won’t find anyone who claims Mystery is not everything he is cracked up to be in field.
The amount of votes that Mystery received this year proves that his prescense is still greatly felt in the community.

I’m really pleased Adam won Dating Coach of the Year. I took a bootcamp with him a little over a year ago and what we were taught has helped me immensely with women. He’s a very good teacher who articulates his points really well.

Oh its Bonsai! I tried your cold reading techniques to about 50 different strippers and guess what? They either all laughed in my face or told me that I was weird. What am I supposed to do? Do 1000 stripper sets? I hope that any guy that takes your stripper courses can get a refund.

Sinn is money…and Rich has done a lot lately, especially with Stealth Attraction. It was indirect game by another name but he presented it really well.
I think the two guys who’ve been the most fun to watch really hit the scene this year are Nick Quick and Brad Jackson with the magic from the PUMA Skills.
I always wondered what types of magic Mystery did…now I know.

How can I take this “Top 10 PUAs” list seriously if Barry Kirkey isn’t in the list? He was featured in the book “The Game”, so you know he has to be good.

All 3 of these dudes have great content, great game, and don’t seem like fucking dorks who I would have wedgied in high school. So tired of nerds in this who are full of shit. Sinn’s been bringing it this year. Brad P is established as the man. Braddock has dropped some serious content and game break down this year. I think they can kind of be assholes, but that shouldn’t come into question when it comes to who’s actually good. Sinn and Braddock are also funny as fuck, check out their blogs if you are new.
I’m fine with Mystery being up there, he’s the pioneer and none of them would be up there if it wasn’t for him. I think some of his stuff is pretty dated, but still amazing that he came up with it from scratch. Everyone else is simply building off of his original concepts.
I also think some of the RSD boys should have been on here, at least on of them. Tim and TD are big dog. I think that Jeffy guy is full of shit, but funny, and that Spanish guy looks like he sucks. But TD or Tim deserve to be on here. Both of their products were damn good.

A good list. As affiliate marketing and scam like recycling and repackaging of the same information is fairly commonplace in the PUA industry, if TSB has the balls to do it, please also include a top 10 PUA charlatans list as Sinn has just done on his blog (albeit a list that’s far too short) to keep the industry honest.
I am very curious about Moonlight in 2010. I’ve never heard of this guy before but after seeing his videos and facebook page I’m convinced that he has something good to offer to the community. We’ll see…

Props to Sinn and to all the other guys on the list, but the #1 on every PUA list this year should be 60yearsofchallenge, hands down.
His book alone is a way better innovation for the community than any gay “day game course”, useless “secret attraction tactics” DVDs or rehashed self-help seminar.
We are on to all the PUA’s now. Make no mistake about it. This has turned into a full blown marketing scam and we are onto it. What is really bad is that they are taking advantage of guys that really need the help.
If it is not a marketing scam then its a scam to get your money. Lovesystems overcharges, does not followup with their bootcamps, they do not demo. Sorry if you charge that kind of money and you do not deliver, you deserve the scrutiny.
It is totally disgusting and what is the biggest shame is that they are running to the bank with our hard earned money.

Yeah, I was able to work out a resolution but it was like pull teeth. They only fully refund one for the two nights out part (that is considered $2000). The seminar is not refunded (that is $950).
The point of the whole matter is that if you are charging that kind of money and telling the world you are this and that and have the best teaching, then its pretty pathetic.
Also, I have heard them tell people that they go over their identity, wardrobe and all and I did not see that either. It was really disappointing to say the least.

I was at that Bootcamp/One to One Session and he gave me the low down on what made him truly successful (he admits in his “Diary of a PUA….” E-book that he’d been in relationships with women since he was 15 years old- had his first kiss then and had BEEN IN RELATIONSHIPS FOR 10 YEARS PRIOR TO GAME!!!!!!!).
He made shit load of Money from a string of PR Job that paid £60k (GBP) or $100k (USD) per year but makes $7000 PER STUDENT PER WEEK.
As for PUA Fanboys give it up. You ain’t getting laid and you won’t be able to scam guys like AFC Adam.
