Rooney being badass

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Apparently, I’m an ass. Some of these photos are of Rooney Mara, while others are of Rooney’s older sister Kate. According to helpful commenter Emily, Kate is “the ones with the gun (from the movie Shooter), the one in red, and the one in the dress.” The others are, presumably, of Rooney. So, there you have it. Not a good way to start off the week!

This Friday marks the exciting return of Freddy Krueger to the big screen in the long-anticipated remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. And as is the case in any of these movies, Krueger needs plenty of hot-looking females in their 20s to scare the living hell out of. One of these girls who will spend the entire movie popping caffeine pills (Jessie Spano-style) in order to keep Freddy from slicing and dicing with his nightmare claws? The subtly sexual Rooney Mara. Now we don’t know a whole lot about Rooney other than she got her big break on the third Urban Legends movie (which can’t be good) and was in a movie called Friends (With Benefits), a concept we can totally get behind. In any case, here’s your gallery of Rooney Mara, everyone.
