Top Five Movies of Milla Jovovich

I?m not sure how often these conversations happen for you, but for me they happen quite a lot. Oftentimes, I would say. First example:

?Drop off the key, Lee.?

The correct response is:

?Leeloo Dallas, Multipass.?

Second example:

?Because I love Jerry Jones so much because he has kept looking so young, I root for Dallas.?

The correct response is:

?Leeloo Dallas, Multipass.?

Third example:

?It?s multiball time, Tommy.?

The correct response is:

?That deaf dumb and blind kid sure is Leeloo Dallas, Multipass.?

Did I say that these conversations have to take place out loud?

If you haven?t figured it out, I?m a big fan of a certain movie that launched the career of Chris Tucker, gave Bruce Willis another cool notch on his movie bedpost and stars the lovely Milla Jovovich. On October 7th, Milla?s newest movie ?Dirty Girl? opens in limited release. While it has to be better than ?Resident Evil? (Doesn?t it? Doesn?t everything? Hopefully?) in all its incarnations, I doubt it will pass the other movies in Milla?s top five.

5. He Got Game

The amazing Milla Jovovich

Since I saw ?Do the Right Thing,? I have been a fan of Spike Lee. Since I saw ?Glory,? I?ve been a fan of Denzel Washington. Fortunately these two met and started to create some very cool movies, including this, ?Mo? Better Blues? and ?Malcolm X.?

4. Dazed and Confused

What an amazing cast as Joey Lauren Adams, Parker Posey and Renee Zellweger join Milla and several more guys that everyone recognizes just to create the one perfect line of the movie. Matthew McConaughey says, ?That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.? Of course, it is also a great look at life at the end of high school, but still, that line with Matthew?s mustache, that?s cinematic gold.

3. Dummy

Previously discussed on the top five movies of Vera Farmiga, it would be the #2 on this list as well, but Milla has a very nice trump card to play.

2. Zoolander

Zoolander is easily one of my favorite comedies of all time. If a movie has a bunch of male models having a gasoline pump fight, then I will laugh with that movie. I will laugh and laugh.

1. The Fifth Element

Of course, you knew this had to be number one. Bruce and Milla and add in Ian Holm, Gary Oldman and a cast of trippy aliens and you have one of the more fun movies of the 90s. As I sit here writing, I don?t think I could tell you the plot and you know what? This is one of the few movies where I could care less. I?m just along for the ride.

Agree? Disagree? Which movies would make your Milla Jovovich top five?
