Must-Read: Health Smartphone Apps

Phones are no longer phones. See that thing in your pocket that has all of your contacts and allows you to call your friends. That’s just something it kind of accidentally does now. Phones are, instead, life managers. All of your emails are in there, and your various articles that you want to read, and maps, and calculators, and, well, everything you can ever possibly want, save for maybe a knife or something like that. And smartphones are also ways to make us better. That is, if you’re smart about which apps you load onto it. If you pick the right apps, and are able to utilize them, then you’re on your way to becoming a healthy and proud man.

Which is why we’re so thankful that Men’s Fitness went ahead and put together this amazing list of the best 64 phone apps that will get you working out and feeling healthy in no time. You best download them. Among the list that we love:

GymPact: Skip a workout? You?re going to be out a chunk of change. How?s that for staying on track? (See: Is Making Money the Best Workout Motivation?)

MapMyFitness: Don?t want to shell out serious cash for a GPS-enabled running watch? This free app uses your phone?s GPS to track how many miles you?ve covered, plus it saves the route you traveled in case you want to run it again.

So why not clear out that Words With Friends and iFart apps that are clogging up your phone, and start being SMART about your smartphone (see what we did there?!?!?!) by using it to actually make you a better person? Head on over to the link above and check out the rest of the apps they recommend.
