Must-Read: Gourmet Grilling

Grill it up!

Well, folks. Summer is here. Which means that grill better have all the cobwebs cleared out of it, and you better have already head to the store to buy some lighter fluid and charcoal, and you better get ready for another season full of grilling like a crazy man outside. But maybe your grill, as it is, just isn’t cutting it anymore. Maybe it’s just been sitting out there for years and years, and it’s time for a new one. You bought a new TV recently, and you can’t go 2 years without getting a new phone, so why not put that money into something a bit more substantial? Something that is actually going to make food to put inside of you?

Which is why today we’re taking everyone over to the great folks at AskMen.com in order to get them to provide this great article on what accessories you’re going to need to gourmet grill, and where to get them. For example, one of the tools you are going to need:

Three-piece stainless-steel barbecue tool set

A pair of spring-loaded tongs is essential to grab everything from charcoal to smaller pieces of meat and vegetables. You also need a spatula to flip those big hunks of meat (ahem — I mean, those delicate fillets of fish) and a fork to turn more difficult foods or to swiftly retrieve items that slip through the grill before your guests notice. Yes, you can use regular kitchen-grade stuff for this, but we hope you have dedicated grill tools, because they’re big and they’re fun to use.

So head on out to the store, post-haste, and pick up some extra grill items. Treat yourself. And hell, while you’re out there, might as well pick up one of those “Kiss the Cook” aprons. They’re cool, in an ironic kind of way.
