Must-Read: Time For Some More Sex Lessons
Do you remember your first kiss? How about the first time that you got to second base? Or the first time that a girl touched your most sensitive area down below? Or your first threesome?
The fact is, when something is new for the first time, when you haven’t experienced it before, you tend to remember it. (Subsequent threesomes, meanwhile, may not have the same lasting impact as that first one, no matter how awkward and weird it was.) And there are valuable lessons to get from those first experiences, lessons that we may have forgotten over the years because our brains are working on other things. But it’s important to take a walk down memory lane every so often.
So today, we’re heading over to Men’s Health where they have a grouping of 25 “sex moments” that you would be right to have experienced throughout your days as a sex-crazed man… and, more importantly, what they all mean. Moments like this:
SHE TEACHES YOU SOMETHING IMPORTANT—WITH HER BODY
Marc, 23: “In my freshman year of college, my girlfriend took it upon herself to teach me a few things—I was the virgin in the relationship. We started having sex, and one night she asked if I wanted to try doggy-style. Obviously, I agreed. Then she flipped open the door of the cheap college dresser and angled the mirror so we could watch. After this experience, our kinkiness just snowballed.”
Let her lead: Researchers in Australia tracked young women’s sex lives for a year and found that as they gained experience, they also gained body confidence and felt more entitled to pleasure. Makes it easier on you, right? “Encourage her to share what she wants to do. Ask her, ‘What have you always wanted to try but haven’t?’ ” suggests Engler. Now you’re not her student—you’re the guy who fulfilled her fantasy.
So head on over to the link to check out the other 24 important sex lessons that you should be learning throughout your life. And if you’re not learning them, or have yet to learn them, at least you have the experiences of others to draw from, meaning that you won’t be like a navigator without a map when it comes time to know your way around the bedroom.
