Well, for one, research shows that only 38% of young adults under age 30 express deep satisfaction with their jobs—compared with 63% for people age 65 and up. This might seem unsurprising at first glance, since older people have had more time to build confidence and get established in their careers.
Maybe you hate your job but need to keep it because of student loans and other responsibilities. You can always be working towards something that you actually want to do. I’ve hated every job I’ve ever had after college until I started working toward a dream and a career I actually wanted. Sometimes you have to keep your current job until you have put the steps in place to get somewhere else. The easiest time to do it is while you are young with less responsibilities.
