Blog of the Week: Mad Atoms
Peter Cetera had it right when he sang “Everybody needs a little time away.” Whether it’s the current middling relationship you’re in, the dead-on job you’re stuck at, or the various stresses you get just from being on the Internet, it’s good to visit a site where you can just turn your head off for a few moments and not think about anything. Enter MadAtoms.com.
The site is updated daily (well, Monday through Friday at least) with comedic content for your pleasure. The site has a wide breadth, containing articles ranging from an essay explaining what it’s like to be uncircumcised in America to a chart for how political newspeak should be interpreted. The site also has a pretty great art design, as evidence by the following example, the Sci-Fi Superfan Reference Chart:
So, yeah. Feel free to add Mad Atoms to whatever daily blogroll you keep on your computer.
Note: It should be noted that I am not entirely unbiased about this site; I do occasionally write for the site. But, still. You’re missing out if you don’t check it out.
