‘Walking Dead’ Creator Gives Tour of New Prison Set
Can comic book locations exist in real life? They do now. ?The Walking Dead? crew has recreated the prison from the original comic books for season three.
In this exclusive video from AMC?s website, series creator and the show?s executive producer Robert Kirkman gives a tour of the prison set in which season three takes place.
Kirkman explains how weird it is to see a made-up place from his comic book turned into an actual location. ?Things that are in comics should never exist in real life, ?said Kirkman. ?I feel really uncomfortable here frankly.?
This ?absolutely, bizarrely amazing? set will make its first appearance this fall, as ?The Walking Dead? kicks off its third season on October 14. According to Kirkman, season three will blow seasons one and two out of the water.
If you?re a fan of the show, you?ll be seeing this prison set for a while. Season three is being split into two eight-episode blocks. The first eight will air this fall, while the second eight will air in early spring 2013.
It?s cool to hear Kirkman gush about something he created as a comic book becoming a real life place. If only my Ninja Turtles/G.I. Joe/Ghostbusters co-headquarters that I invented when I was eight were a real place. Now, that?d be sweet.

Here is a simple and innocent move that will instantly tell you if you're in the friend zone, or if she's waiting for you to kiss her.
