Must-Read: Watches for the Workout

One of the downsides of the smart phone revolution is the apparently loss of the wrist watch. If you can get the time on your phone, why even both with actually getting a watch and sticking one on your wrist? And it sucks, because the wristwatch was one of the greatest and most fashionable pieces of technological machinery of all time. That said, because of the phone revolution, wristwatches have had to adapt, by which we mean, offer a bit more than just the time and date when you go to your wrist to look at it.

One of the ways that they’ve adapted, actually, have been to go the workout route. They’ve upped their game by offering things to the user, such as monitoring heart rate, how intense you’re working out, and other various timing mechanisms in order to let you know when you’re done enough reps. It’s just a matter of picking the right one for the kind of workout person you are. So today we’re heading on over to Men’s Health where they have a listing of a few of the best watches that will help your workout. For example:

Name: Casio Sport CHR200-1
Material: resin band
Movement: digital
Key Features: heart rate and intensity monitor, water resistant to 50m, 29 time zones, 1/100 second stopwatch, auto-calendar
Price: $160
Website: pathfinder.casio.com

So head on over to the link in order to check out the other options, and then head over, get yourself one of the watches, and you’ll be ready to start pumping iron and popping those pecs in no time. No time at all. (SEE WHAT WE DID THERE WITH THE WHOLE TIME THING!?!?!)

Seriously. Enough joking around. Go click the link.
