Confidence, Style and Your Seducer’s Character
I once asked a female friend of mine how much a man’s looks mattered when it came to attraction, and I thought that her answer was right on the money. She told me that, “Looks don’t really matter, but they don’t really hurt either.”
And here’s what she meant– It doesn’t matter if you’re short, fat and balding, you still have a chance of getting with a super attractive woman; but there are also a few things that you can do to make your chances of this happening significantly higher.
Let’s face it, not all of us are born with movie-star looks, and in fact, most of us are average looking at best. But luckily for us, our ‘look’ isn’t limited to the physical appearance that we are born with. Everything from our clothing to our accessories to our hairstyle contributes towards our overall look, and these are things that can easily be manipulated.
Not all of us can be rockstars, record producers or movie directors, but we can all look the part. At the end of the day, girls don’t want to sleep with an accountant that looks like an accountant. They’re more likely to sleep with the accountant that looks like the rockstar. This might seem shallow, but it’s the way the world is. So instead of fighting it, it makes much more sense to work with it.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a writer, an accountant, an engineer or a construction worker; remember that your look doesn’t have to conform to that of your peers. So if you look like any everyday Joe, take some time to develop a kickass avatar.
Find inspiration wherever you can; it doesn’t matter if it’s from a movie character or if it’s from the latest issue of GQ. Join a gym and get in shape. Hire a great hair stylist and invest in some grooming products. We live in a day and age where packaging is part of the product, so make yours stand out. This is the first step in creating your seducer’s character.
Another thing that you’ll realize when working on your ‘look’ is that this can have an incredibly positive effect on your self-esteem and confidence. And at the end of the day, this is much more attractive to a woman than a baddass leather jacket or a thousand dollar shirt. Now some people may argue that this contradicts what I said earlier and that true confidence comes from within.
But the fact of the matter is that not everyone is born with the ability to be supremely confident wearing just a turtleneck and jeans. So if you can use your outward appearance as a stepping stone to building your inner confidence, why the hell not?
The last piece of the puzzle that makes up your seducer’s character is your body language. And one of the best ways of learning body language is by observing and modeling the body language of men that women find attractive. These could be men you know in your real life or characters off the silver screen. Pay close attention to the way they carry themselves and the way they handle themselves, and work on emulating that.
Creating your own unique seducer’s character is a long and painstaking process, but it is also an incredibly fun and rewarding one. And once you have the avatar and the persona worked out, you’ll realize that this character soon becomes a way of being.
