Must-Read: The Best Non-Water Waters

As far as bottled waters go, a whole lot of them are a scam. Basically, all they’re doing is taking water from the tap of some other country, putting it through some very faint and barely noticeable filter, and sticking it into a bottle so they can sell it for three bucks a pop to people who are too scared to simply drink from the tap or from the water fountain at the theme park. Just straight bottled waters are, for the most part, huge scams. But there is a huge new contingent of non-water waters that actually have a lot of different kinds of nutrition and vitamins in them that basic bottled waters just don’t have.

And so today we’re heading on over to Men’s Fitness where they have a list of the eight alternatives to tap water that you really need to get into your system. For example:

It is the ultimate hangover remedy because it replaces the electrolytes that you lose when you drink alcohol and helps settle the stomach. Drink coconut water before and after hard workouts as well, but be aware of how much you?re drinking?-each 8-ounce serving contains 45 to 60 calories.

So head on over to the link above to check out the other water-like beverages that you need to get into your body. And figure out exactly what they’re going to do that’s good, what they’re going to do that’s bad, and if it’s even a smart idea to drink those instead of good ol’ fashioned tap water.
