How To Quit Your Job To Freelance Full-Time
For anything that you do in this lifetime you are going to need a plan from buying groceries to quitting you day job. The number one thing you have to do is to decide what you are going to do and develop a road map of how to get there. If you are thinking about freelancing as full time employment or a side hustle you should probably start with Leaving Work Behind a blog written by Tom Ewer.
I ended up signing up for Paid to Blog, which is a course written by Tom on how to break into freelance writing. This is honestly the best $50 I’ve spent on my business this year. He taught me step-by-step how to launch a website, format my Hire Me page and start pitching for jobs.
This is a great starting point if you have a passion for writing or just really don’t like your 9-5. I have been on freelancer.com and a bunch of other sites that hire artists and writers and there is always way more supply of artists than demand for actual jobs. To get ahead as a freelancer you will have to bootstrap your way to the top.
