BrainQuicken’s Bodyquick Review… A More Natural Adderall?

I will admit that I’m a productivity junkie… I’m always looking for ways to get more done in the day, and ways that I can better focus my mind at the task at hand.

I tried Adderall, Ritalin, Red Bull, Rock Star, double espressos, and just about every other combination of herbs and supplements available.

Adderall was my personal favorite, but I dislike too many of the side effects that come along with taking it.? So I’ve been living on Sugar Free Red Bull the last six months.

I recently finished reading the book The Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss.? If you’re a regular reader you know how much I liked the book… now if you haven’t read the book, Tim Ferriss was able to finance his lifestyle by manufacturing and distributing a supplement called Brainquicken Bodyquick.? The product is designed to support optimal neural function.? Tim originally designed the product for college students, but found that athletes were the biggest consumers of the product.

Since I enjoyed Tim’s book so much, and the fact that he has a huge reputation at stake… I figured I would give Bodyquick a shot.? Here is my two week verdict for those interested:

  • It takes about thirty minutes to kick in.? Once it kicks in, it feels similar to drinking two Red Bulls, but without the jitters or racing heart.
  • If you’ve taken Adderall it is just a little less powerful.? It doesn’t have the “calm down” feeling that Adderall gives you when it wears off.? But you are more tired than before you took it. It last 2-3 hours.
  • I’ve found that my workouts at the gym were not impacted that much more than a Red Bull would provide me.
  • The mental clarity is more pronounced then a caffeine rush.? I find the best time to take it is before I have a project to work on, or want to get a large amount of writing done.? It keeps me in the zone for several hours.
  • It is a little tough on the stomach.? I recommend taking it with food or you might feel some heartburn.
  • As a workout/weight loss supplement I think you can find cheaper/more powerful substitutes like DREN.
  • As a focus/concentration/productivity supplement I find it better than Adderall simply because lack of negative side effects? It is a little pricey, but if it promotes more productivity it might be worth it.
  • My final verdict.? I’m going to finish this bottle, and then judge my productivity vs. last month’s productivity without it, and then make up my mind about whether or not to re-order.

I’m sure the exact ingredients in it, but you can read the label here.? I did quite a bit of research before ordering and wasn’t able to find any negative press about it, or harmful side effects.? And if you’d like to experience the same focus and produtivity, you can order yourself a bottle here.
