The Beauty of the Summer Fling…
For a long as I could remember, I’ve always been very nostalgic about “summer flings.” ?Maybe its because, during the summer after my sixth grade, I got my first girlfriend. ?And she proceeded to dump me before seventh grade started.
For years I held onto the memory of that summer fling. ?That little bitch broke my heart…. but since then, I’m literally addicted to meeting a girl in the summer… and ending it by August. ?Keeps it a alive in my mind for years afterward.
However…
Over at the Campus Socialite, their was a recent post about how to keep a summer fling past summer. ?I’m curious your guys thoughts.
Is it better to have that short, steamy, passionate romance… then stop it cold, so it can live on in eternal bliss?
Or is it better to try to turn it into an actual relationship, knowing full well, that within six months the two of you can be so bored with each other you want to puke.
