3 Exercises That Will Get You A Bigger Chest


It can be tough for some guys out there who are not naturally blessed with a big physique and are desperate to be huge. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, they can potentially end up having a better figure than someone who is bulkier. If this person is you then all you need is a lot of hard work, persistence and these three workouts:

1.     Twisting Dumbbell Bench Press



  1. Lie on your back with a dumbbell in each hand. Make sure you have a standard grip and that your arms are extended over your chest.
  2. Lower the dumbbells towards your chest in a controlled fashion, then press and rotate 180 degrees while pushing them back to the original starting position. At this point your little fingers should be facing inwards. Try to hold this position for two seconds before lowering for the next rep.

Tip: Keep your shoulders back during the press to isolate the chest muscles.

2.     Weighted Push-Ups



  1. Begin in a push-up position with your hands roughly six inches apart. Then get a friend or a training partner to add some sort of weight resistance onto your back.
  2. Lower your chest to the floor in a controlled fashion before pushing back up until your elbows are fully extended.

Tip: Try mixing up the distance between your hands in the push-up position to work on different parts of the chest.

3.     Dips



  1. Hold yourself up with both of your arms locked on each of the parallel bars.
  2. Lower yourself down in a controlled fashion whilst breathing in with your torso slightly leaning forward and elbows slightly pointing out.
  3. Once you feel the stretch in your chest bring your body back up again as your breathe out.

Tip: When you become more advanced at dips try adding a weight belt to make it harder.

So now you have all the information needed to get that ripped chest, all that’s left to do now is to go out and get it!
