3. Pistachios

When you have an ongoing loop of negative thoughts playing in your mind, doing something repetitive with your hands may help silence your inner monologue. Think knitting or kneading bread?or even shelling nuts like pistachios or peanuts. The rhythmic moves will help you relax.

Remember, when we?re talking about calming foods, we?re not talking about comfort foods. That kind of eating may give you some temporary emotional sense of calm, but it wears off all too quickly. We mean proper meals and snacks that will help truly soothe your body and mind.
