More advice for writing the best online dating bio
A few months ago I wrote this article about how you can write the best possible online dating bio. To accentuate the main piece of advice in that article, I’m going to share another bio that I’ve been using for most of this year that has been helping me generate good results:
As I wrote in the previous article, the most important barometer of a successful online dating bio is the feedback it generates. You want each section of your bio to give your matches hooks with which they can message you something a little more interesting than something they would normally send.
Based on my first line about Hilary Duff, for example:
And the next part about Operation:
And the part in which I gripe about “whole nother.”
I get the most comments about the part mentioning peanut butter:
It’s good to change up your profile every few months; familiarity breeds contempt.
