7 Office Snacks You Wouldn’t Expect To Be Packed With Protein
No matter what you might do to ensure you keep your mealtimes clean and free of unnecessary fat, the unconscious snacking that you do between meals is generally one of the biggest threats when it comes pesky and consistent weight gain. Why not bring some unsalted peanuts, some baby carrots, or some raisins, or a bag or bottle of almonds/nuts, or a banana, even an orange, and so on into the movie theater? Then you watch a movie while not damaging your body. You can these items in a jacket pocket or if you are a female, your purse since the movie theater may not allow this. If you want to buy some popcorn, well, at least you are balancing that out with something nutritious.

What’s more, these delicious treats mean you can enjoy all of the nutritional values of pizza, without the dough weighing you down. Because it’s made from milk, mozzarella is naturally full of protein and calcium, which helps to shore up your bones and muscle, while frying off extra fat.

You might think of popcorn as the kind of snack you turn to when you’re at the movies (as already discussed) or chomping down snacks in front of the television, but it can actually be a lot healthier than you think. Simply throw a few edamame beans in oil, parmesan, and lemon before putting them on a baking sheet in the oven for 45 minutes or so. It’s the food you keep in your car for when you’re driving on a long trip and feel your stomach rumbling – because it almost never goes out of date. Finally, chicken is by far the best muscle-builder out there, and the number one go-to lean meat on the market. Microwavable chicken satay or other quick-snack chicken can be a fantastic way to keep your protein topped up and improve your energy throughout the day.
