Finance Your Nightlife: What is Profit Lance

Last week I wrote a post titled 3 Ways to Earn Some Extra Cash to Finance Your Nightlife. Judging from the amount of private emails I got regarding the topic, it is clear that many of us are affected by this shitty economy.

If you’re like me and just not willing to sacrifice your nightlife… then you’re going to need to learn how to make some extra cash. From time to time here at TSB Magazine we will try to give you guys some tips and hints for padding your wallet.

After that last post a handful of people emailed me asking what exactly Profit Lance is. For those of you who didn’t read the original article, Profit Lance is a membership I purchased about 6 months ago in an effort to learn more about online marketing and making money on the internet.

How does Profit Lance Work

Profit Lance is basically a membership to a semi interactive internet marketing classroom. That is the best way I can describe it.

Once you login to the site you are presented with a dashboard of options to choose from. If you are a beginner to online marketing there are 5 Getting Started videos that will give you an introduction to the topic.

After you’ve watched the introduction videos you move on to the Learning Center. The Learning Center is filled with ebooks and information, broken down within the these topics:

1. Affiliate Marketing
2. Google Adsense
3. Information Products
4. Getting Traffic
5. Writing Sales Copy
6. SEO Tactics

Each of those categories are then broken down into sub categories.. each with dozens of articles and ebooks to teach you everything you need to know about the subject.

There are over 21 ebooks included on subjects like “writing press releases” “product launches” “Myspace marketing” “youtube marketing” and much more.

You are then set up with 5 website premade to begin promoting different affiliate products (I did not make use of these sites as I already have several of my own sites to work on)

There is then another section titled “Projects.”

Projects is the practical element to the course. Here you are given specific projects to complete.

The overall purpose of these exercises is to give you firsthand experience of the building blocks. Once you are familiar with these affairs, you will automatically be able to recognize opportunities and know exactly how to monetize them. You will be able to devise and implement your own strategies, because you will have a clear, overall picture of where everything fits in.

There are a dozen other resources that the site offers as well.

But the most value I got out of the site was the niche research center that is built into the site. This research center allows you to analyze different markets and keywords quickly by including a handful of different tools that allow you to effectively analyze different niches. Since I already had some degree of knowledge in online marketing this was the section I found myself in the most. It really gave me some fresh ideas of topics that were “hot” and still undiscovered by much of the web.

Is Profit Lance for you?

That is really tough for me to say. If you have an interest in getting started online it really is a complete package in terms of learning the system of making money on the internet. It also includes 21 ebooks that if you bought separately would cost you around five hundred dollars. So, if you are still inexperienced at online marketing than this course will benefit you.

If you are seasoned online marketer you probably won’t learn anything from this course that you didn’t already know. Although for me, it refreshed alot, and made searching out niche markets a piece of cake.

Will you get rich quick? Do you ever? No. But if you are serious about learning the subject then it is definitely worth the $40 or so it cost.
