This is the 7th lesson in my “How to be Popular in High School Program” If you haven’t begun to this program from the beginning I highly recommend you do so.
Have you taken the time to evaluate your friends? Are there friends of your who may not have your best interest in mind?
Today’s lesson is going to be quite short and involve only a reading assignment.
Lesson 7 “Don’t Brown Bag It“
There are simple things that the popular kids don’t do. One of those things is bring a brown bag lunch to school. Take note of this in the cafeteria on Monday.
I bring this up to show you a point that you have to try as hard as they do. You may say: I don’t have lunch money. My mother makes me bring a lunch. blah blah blah
You don’t think the popular kids face the same dilemmas. Of course they do. They are just more committed to being popular and getting laid then you are.
Homework
I came across this interesting article by Paul Graham titled “Why nerds aren’t popular” I highly suggest reading this article.
Not all of you will fit in the category of nerd… but Paul does a good job reinforcing many of the points that I made in this program.
Your only homework this weekend is to read this post.

ha ha cant wait to read it!!
unfortunately,i havent the time right now.
but i do have time to say a little advice..
in the process of making a friend in the popular circle, make sure you show him enough value so that when the time comes, he might be able to spot you some cash in order to go out to lunch with them!
or if your not allowed off campus, to at least eat what the cool kids eat at your school..

I wish I had learned these lessons while I was still in High School. Maybe then I would have saved time on the transformation I just went through/still going through.
I guess we all have our transformation exactly when we’re supposed to have it.

Because I’m fresh out of highschool, I’m going to have to partially disagree with this. The most popular kids in my grade all brought their own lunches (normally, some days they didn’t). One of them even had an all star lunch, with like two sandwiches, plenty of snacks, he became infamous because of the monster lunch his mom made him.
I would say, bring nothing that you have to take with you… brown bags are cool, what if the lunch you can buy sucks??? Just don’t bring any like thermus type bag, those are gay.

Yea i guess it might be different in each school… but the point was more to say watch for these little details… it is paying attention to these little details that can make a big difference.

the way i see it, that guy probably does that because he knows he can pull it off.. its a rare case, but like it is when your in a set, unless you have enough value you wont be able to pull off certain routines..
so i recommend just doing whatever the majority of the cool kids are doing at your school. just dont make it seem like an obvious attempt to copy them, just make it seem like a slow transition.

What FredEx said there is right, Its really important, on how someone could pull it off.
Its HOW its done rather than WHAT is done.
This goes for all things, even when it comes to clothing fashion..
I used to observe the alpha males in my old skool, and they ALWAYS followed this principle, no matter what: jokes, clothes, etc..
(even if it was something stupid..they got a good reaction from everyone).
On FredEx’s second statement, i slightly disagree, whilst i think that its important to copy the new trends, i still think, getting your own style would be very unique and outstanding.
I know a guy from my skool, who wears some ridicolous clothing outfits, but he always gets alotta attention and compliments..abit like peacocking, but it has to be calibrated atleast the RIGHT way.
I usually get unique stuffs, like when i go to NY or some other country i bring something new and cool, and i get compliments.. a slight way of DHV.
So maybe a combination of both new trends and your unique style of whatever will definiately be effective..
