Limiting Belief Exercise

Limiting Belief Exercise:

Write down ten of your beliefs about your inability to be powerful
and in supreme control over what is holding you back.

– For each and every one of those beliefs, create a make-believe
situation where that particular belief is not true and where you’re
acting in a powerful way that contradicts the negative belief.
This will cause your subconscious mind to immediately begin
doubting and deleting the negative belief.

– List ten new, positive beliefs that you’d like to use to replace
the ten negative ones.

– For each of these ten beliefs, come up with present-tense
positive statements about each beliefs.

– Every day for the next thirty days, sit down and write out this
list of present-tense positive statements on paper. As you’re
writing them out, imagine yourself in situations where you’re
actually emanating these positive qualities. So, for example, if
one of your present-tense statements is –I never become
nervous in front of a woman no matter who it is. Imagine
yourself approaching a girl and being on a date later where you
feel supremely powerful and in control of the situation to such
an extent that your date is the one who should be feeling nervous!
