What to Text A Girl
A popular yet not widely discussed part of meeting women these days comes down to text messaging. More and more you will have to rely on your mobile phone skills to get you that first or second date. This isn’t just for young people anymore, texting has spread across every age group and is now becoming an intricate part of our daily routines.
Enough theory, lets get down to brass tacks! I decided to make a list broken down into 2 3 categories:
Openers – messages that open up the conversation; they are usually vague, funny and intriguing. Most people stay away from questions but there are always exceptions to the rules!
Closers – messages used to close or end the conversation; they can result in an instant phone call, plans for the night, a planned phone call or just to leave the conversation at bay…possibly for another time.
Textine(s) – their like routines, but done over text messaging. A textine consists of an opener, closer and maybe a few other messages depending on the desired outcome.
Possible desired outcomes:
- her calling you
- her asking you to call her
- plans to hangout
- meet her out somewhere
- continue texting @ a later time
- ?????????
For this first category I am going to give all of my suggestions, and I want you to leave your suggestions in the comments. Note: All messages have to be 160 characters or less!
When we are done with the 2 posts (categories), I will put all the best ones together into a master cheat sheet for everyone. Because that’s how we roll here at TSB!

Text Openers/Starters
This is the type of message you use to just get the text conversation going… Remember, all messages have to be 160 characters or less! I came up with most of these off the top of my head, but basically any vague funny message should work as an opener.
- I found a place for you to take me to!
- Tag, you’re it!
- Here I am, what are your other 2 wishes?
- If I ever need (some product or advice related to her work), I know who to call =)
- Just so you don’t stalk me tonight, I’ll be at (location) – hopefully you can control yourself…
- OMG I just met your twin!
- I just made you open your phone for no reason…looks like I got you in check =)
- Made you look!
- I just saw something that reminded me of you
- Bad Girl!

hey mimi,
i would definitely keep texting. and call too. your goal between now and 3 weeks time is to make her feel like your part of her every day life. i would try to increase the talk/text throughout the 3 weeks, start with a text or 2 a day and increase as time goes on. just talk trash, anything really. but dont be needy, always appear to have stuff going on- when you call dont chat for too long, cut it short (time constraint (be congruent though, if she obviously wants to chat longer and you keep cutting it off she’ll loose interest) so that by the time she gets back she’s itching to hang out with you (she may get shy when you finally get to see her, dont mistake that for her not wanting you)
you can use any of the text openers people have mentioned above, but try to keep them close to your personality, things you feel confident you can ‘get away with’ (cheeky etc). you dont want to be a different person when your hanging out in 3 weeks.

ok, so, here’s the thing. i dont know what bebo is (guessing it’s a social website?) but girls take to these things like it’s there real life. have you been friends with her for long on there? are you in the same social circle in any way either on there or real life?
first thing i would say, is to never ask those sort of questions until the relationship has escalated a little further (until you’ve slept together, probably more than once). also, small talk like that should be saved for private conversations between the two of you. i see guys making mistakes all the time on social networking sites like this, girls see it as boring small talk and some even see it as a burden to have to respond to. remember, girls presume (well, in most cases they are correct haha) that all guys are after is sex. so asking questions like that might make them feel like your trying to arrange a meet, or even worse “turn” up at the events they’re planning. it works best if you tell them how good your weekend is going to be, when they ask why you tell them all the fun things your going to be doing (you can make anything you do seem fun if you put some thought into it). if they seem interested you can invite them, if they invite themselves bust on them (neg) something like “sure, you can come. but you need to dress nice i dont want to be seen with a hippy(or goof, whatever)”.
my time says you have 2 weeks and 3 days before you can see her again. forget social websites and stick to the old fashion text and calls. there are plenty on the earlier threads of this to keep you going until it comes naturally

cool man, good to hear. for flakes you just need to send them a longish message reminding them how much fun you BOTH had together when you met and that it’s not often that you get the chance to really connect with someone like that in this day and age. then say your messaging to give them one last chance to try to get to know you and leave it at that. i have used this routine countless times with very few non-reply’s, and girls will usually see your sincerity about just wanting to know them more rather than just wanting to get in their pants

preface: I’ve been Facebook gaming this girl for a few days and got her number.
[Cue prison-bars-slamming sound effect] In the txt-msg department of the female-seduction community, there are two separate but equally important parts: the men who send the text messages and the women who receive them. These are their stories.

Never EVER do the kitchen thing. I know guys think it’s funny and it’s just a joke but to a lot of girls (including myself) it comes across and incredibly rude and disrespectful.
Well this is how I did, we were fb messaging and I was like “so r u on ur comp or phone or on the fb messenger’”? And she said “on my phone, y did u ask”? sounds like a case of one-girl-itis….what you need to do is give her a little space, maybe text once or twice a week and be cool about it. dont be that guy that haves to hover around her 24/7. dont ask her out for a couple weeks and try to build more attraction. if you do ask her out, make a group thing so you can build better attraction in person. simply put……be playful, not obsessive and good luck. let me know how it turns out.

These are good starters but what abt the things in between that keep long conversations. Anyone can start a conversation or end it . It’s the in between we need .

It obviously is awkward, but thats not an excuse, its a reason to talk to her, its gonna be pretty hard at first, but the first thing you need to do is walk straight to her and just start talking, pretty much anything, but try to ask her about something in class or her life, gradually it will get more natural

I think texting makes everything much easier nowadays but talking in person is still the best way to get a date from a girl. She’ll respect you more if you’re in her face. But for booty calls nothing beats a late night text…
I personally believe that the best way to text a girl is using inside jokes.
Inside jokes create a bond between two people because it’s like a secret language that only the two of them understand.
Another important factor to consider are the smilies. Using smilies like “: – )” is very important because communication is for a strong part body language so it doesn’t get through text.
