With the release of this month’s Esquire issue proclaiming the “Sexiest Woman Alive,” my heart sank. With taking over the mantle as the sexiest woman alive in the world(!) that can only mean one thing: MUST be dead. That was the only conclusion I could make. I mean, is obviously the sexiest woman alive … her not being named the sexiest woman, and still being alive, would be a dramatic oversight by the Esquire staff. But then we looked on Wikipedia — or go-to place to confirm or deny celebrity deaths — and realized she was still alive.

Esquire named the sexiest woman alive despite being also alive! This CANNOT be correct.
