Must-Read: Ways to Annoy Your Co-Workers

If you happen to be one of those sad sacks who are working in an office — and really, it’s not nearly as bad as it sounds; for instance, you are definitely in a place that currently has heat keeping you warm, whereas if you are working freelance like, say, we are, then maybe you don’t — then no doubt there is someone in that group of cubicles that you hate. It’s simply playing the odds. If you put enough people in the same environment, there’s going to be some duds.

Or. And here’s a scary thought. But maybe YOU’RE the dud! Fact is, no matter how great you are at your job, if you’re annoying the hell out of your coworkers, then you are not the person they are going to invite out for a drink, or try to think about hiring when they all get into a position of power. So today we’re heading over to Men’s Health, where they have a list of ten ways that you can be going about annoying your coworkers. As such, these are things you’re going to want to steer clear from. Here’s a good once:

7. You Take Hour-Long Personal Calls
There are three rules for dealing with your personal life at work: 1) Avoid it if you can. 2) If you need to make a personal call but work in a cubicle, be polite and take it elsewhere on your cell. 3) Never, ever deal with your drama on speakerphone. Offices may have doors, but walls are thin.

Head on over to the link above and read the other nine, and in no time you’ll be the person of great interest at your work, a role that can only lead to promotions and more money and more success and hooray!
