Old Spice Gets Musical With Interactive Video

I?m more of a Mitchum man now, but I thought I?d share this new Old Spice ?ad? with you guys. Former NFL player and ?Everybody Hates Chris? start Terry Crews has teamed up with the deodorant company to create a pretty weird but pretty awesome interactive video.

The viral video appears on Vimeo?and features Crews sitting shirtless in a room surrounded by musical instruments. Every time he moves a muscle, one of the instruments in the room plays. These include a keyboard, drums, guitar, etc. My personal favorite is the Flame Sax (yes, it?s actually a saxophone that shoots out flames.)

Whether you rock Old Spice or are more of an Axe man, check out the video. Once Crews? ?song? is over, you get your chance to play with the host of instruments offered by tapping keys on your keyboard.? Pressing ?o? toots a horn, while pressing ?m? plays a cymbal. Some of the keys are a little weirder. For example, pressing ?a? results in links of sausages coming onscreen and Crews shouting ?Sausages!?

As an advertising professional, I think it?s a pretty good way to engage customers. As a music fan, it?s cool to mess around with. It doesn?t, however, make me want to put on Old Spice. Does it do anything for you?
