Best Fight Scene Ever: “Undefeatable”

This has already been viewed over 4 million times at this point, so there’s a really, really good chance that you’ve already seen it. But, listen: For the 16 or so people out there who have yet to experience it, here’s your chance. It really is something that everyone needs to see and understand so we can, as a society, take our inevitable next step in evolution. It’s that important.

In any case:

“Undefeatable” is your standard 90-minute martial arts affair (something about bad people doing things and then getting stopped by good people by using karate) but it’s this final fight scene why anyone remembers it at all. From the Wikipedia entry:

The film features a notable fight scene towards the end approximately three minutes long. This fight is often cited as the worst fight scene ever filmed due to its poor close-up shots, slow movements, constant shouting, and needless shirt ripping. Also cited are strange maneuvers and plot changes – including a towel used to hold an arm and Kristi, with arm in sling, fighting with no apparent handicap or notice of arm.

The video was brought to my attention by the great Cracked.com article of “The 3 Most Baffling Fight Scenes in Movie History”, so head that-a-way if you’re in the mood for awful, horrendous fight scenes. (Spoiler: This one is easily the best, meaning worst, as if another could ever come close to its level.)
